Counting to 1000



Cristen, Daniel and Breanna were counting pennies by 10's to 1000. 



Mattie, Seth A and Jacob were using the 1 cm cubes to make a 1000.

1000 plastic squares were counted by Amber, Seth B, Emma and Keigan.

Morgan, Helena, and Sebastian were having fun counting to 1000 with the 1 cm cubes.

Kelsey and Abby counted buttons by the tens to 1000 today



Madelynn, Beth, Sam and Charlie counted 1000 buttons.



Josh, Delaney and Dylan counted with pennies,  first by tens,  and then by hundreds to 1000.

Building Brains

We are working on making brain caps this week,  and we need help!!

The process of putting the brain hats together is tricky.  Parents are welcome to come in Friday afternoon to help us complete the brain caps!  Please tell us if you can come by putting a note in your child's agenda.  :-)

Games Day

Happy New Year!  

We ended our first week back to school with an afternoon of learning games.  We are grateful to the many parents who helped us  learn how to play some new games.  We had a blast and hope to do this again someday soon!

A lively game of Apples to Apples Junior was enjoyed by Mattie,
her mom, Helena, Sebastian, Josh and Seth A

Emma, Sam's mom,  Amber, Delaney, and Charlie
played a co-operative game called Stone Soup.

Many creative stories were told with Rory's Story Cubes by Dylan,  Dylan's Dad,
Daniel, Daniel's Dad, Beth and Morgan.
